ABOUT US

The Tobacco, Vaping and Cannabis Program is an Alberta Health Services (AHS) provincial program. Our work focuses on preventing the use of commercial tobacco and vaping products, reducing the harms of cannabis and tobacco, and helping people who use these products stop when they are ready. Rescue Agency Benefit, LLC (Rescue Agency) is a US-based organization that helps government agencies and nonprofits create content and campaigns that drive health behavior change. The Tobacco, Vaping and Cannabis Program entered into a licensing agreement with Rescue Agency to adapt the Behind the Haze website for Alberta youth. Behind the Haze Alberta is part of a broader strategy to provide important health information related to tobacco and vaping.
